The Smokey Kent oak bench is at the very pinnacle of our range.

Each bench is individually hand-crafted from our sustainable, historic oak timbers, which have been painstakingly restored to reveal unique and radiant honeyed tones, and the true soul of the wood. Each looks particularly impressive as a stand-alone piece, and especially when twinned with one of our Kentholz dining tables.

FSC Certified and 500 to 800 years old, our Oak is sourced from old mountain huts, farm buildings, and abandoned lodges in the Austrian alps.

Each timber has its own story, giving every piece a depth of character all of its own.

Sustainable Materials

Every Kentholz is handmade locally in Berlin using sustainable materials. Our use of painstakingly restored wood, locally fabricated steel and recycled terrazzo all contribute to minimising our environmental impact and working towards zero waste.

One of a Kind

No aspect of the process is standardised or prefabricated. The individual details and markings of our boards and terrazzo add unexpected colours and forms making each piece unique and impossible to reproduce.
